Solid Oak | LacquerThis wood finish is used in the Harbour and Merkur collections, as well as the Curiosity Cabinet and Knitting Chair. The lacquered finish enhances the characteristics of solid oak, bringing out the depth and warmth of the wood with a smooth, lustrous surface, while helping to repel moisture and dust to contribute to durability.
This wood finish is used in the Passage collection. A glossy lacquered finish that enhances the oak, bringing out the depth and warmth of the wood with its reflective surface. Increasing durability and help to repel moisture and dust.
Solid Oak | Oil
This wood finish is used in the Brasilia, Elizabeth, Oda, Radiohus, Seal, Tired Man and Ingeborg collections, as well as the My Own and Saxe Chairs, the Mingle, Vilhelm and Pagode Sofas, and the Jäger Lounge and Eclipse tables. An oil finish that enhances the oak, bringing out the depth and warmth of the wood while increasing durability and help to repel moisture and dust. A reapplication of oil can often remove minor imperfections to rejuvenate the appearance over time.
This wood finish is used in the ML 42 and Radiohus collections. The soap-treated solid oak is treated with a soap solution for a light, natural and untreated appearance. Giving a light and pale colour to the wood, helping to maintain the grain pattern. Regular maintenance, such as reapplying soap treatment, may be needed to preserve the appearance and protective qualities.
This wood finish is used in the Afteroom, Co Chair, Androgyne, Rail, Epoch collection, as well as the Ready Chair and the Zet Storage System. The lacquered oak veneer is a thin layer of oak wood that has been treated with a varnish for a long-lasting, easy-care finish. Displaying the same colour and distinctive grain patterns as solid oak, enhancing the natural wood and giving a beautiful sheen.
Oak Veneer | Oil
This wood finish is used on the Penguin Collection. Oiled oak veneer is a thin layer of oak wood that has been treated with an oil finish and displaying the same colour and distinctive grain patterns as its solid counterpart. The oil finish enhances and protects these natural characteristics, bringing out the depth and beauty of the wood and providing a warm, natural sheen.
