German designer Oliver Schick merges simple ideas and mood in his design work, inspired by his artistic hometown of Darmstadt. He aims to create timeless, simple and functional products that tell a story, striking a perfect balance between functionality and storytelling.
The Fluire pendant has a striking and enigmatic expression. The centre light source has a downward direction but also glows through the outer glass layer to create an interesting, layered effect and a graduation of brightness, transparency and colour.
